About Us: Kokanee Park Marina is located just outside Nelson, B.C., next to Kokanee Creek Provincial Park. We are dedicated to providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring they have a fantastic experience on and off the water.

Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join our team for the upcoming summer months. They will be helping out in the store daily with tasks ranging from working as a cashier, restocking shelves, and cleaning to helping with various tasks around the marina!

​

Key Responsibilities:

• Working in the marina store, including handling sales, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory, etc.

• Maintaining accurate records and handling financial transactions.

• Assisting customers with any rentals and providing safety instructions.

• ​

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays

• Must be able to sell liquor and tobacco products (Must have your ServingIt Right)!

• Retail Experience is a plus

• Lotto Experience is a plus

• Licenced to pump propane (If not, we will provide training)

• Having your FoodSafe is a plus

While we are currently looking for seasonal help for the upcoming summer months, there is the potential that this could turn into a more permanent position.
